After winter vacation, it occurs to me that a new year arrived 2 months ago. It’s time to make some new year goals, including learning, daily life and social interaction.
First, as a freshman in ECNU, I should be devoted to learning knowledge. On the one hand, I need to pay more attention to courses, regardless of the number of credits so that I can keep my GPA at an appropriate rank. On the other hand, I should get more extra-curricular information to broaden my horizon and find my future career direction. Not only should I study for my own self, but also help fellow students to evolve into more knowledgeable individuals through sharing notes, teaching them again after class, discussing online through WeChat and so on.
Second, when it comes to the daily life of a university student, many of us may think it’s getting up late and staying up late, and eating takeout food everyday. But in the past year, I have been keeping a healthy routine - waking up before 7:30 and hardly ordering delivery unless necessary. Although it seems healthy enough, I lack outdoor exercise for my laziness and have spent too much time on phone gaming. In this year, I am determined to work out more frequently, to keep my physical well-being, and to sleep more regularly to avoid feeling tired during the daytime.
Third, with suitable life bringing physical health to me, I should enhance social interaction to heal my heart, which is overwhelmed by a mountain of pressure from both university and myself. Sometimes, when I am stuck by a puzzling problem and feel annoyed, I should communicate with teachers, fellow students or any other helpful manual, instead of struggling it alone for a whole day. Similarly, when something pleasing happens, I can also share it with my families and friends to multiply the happiness.
In a nutshell, keeping these three items in mind, I am confident that I can absorb more knowledge, live a healthy life and make more friends.
